Independent project
A tool I’m building to help organizations follow California legislation. It screens bills against a client’s interests, then brings relevant bills and updates into a review workflow.
About the projectHow I work
I work closely with my team to understand how people live and work, what they want to accomplish, and what gets in their way. We use research, observed behavior, and feedback to understand their habits, constraints, and workarounds. I bring that evidence together into a product point of view and help the team decide where to focus.
Together, we explore solutions, test assumptions, and iterate, learning from how people use what we ship. That collaboration starts in discovery and continues through development, launch, and beyond.
A bit about me
Before Intuit, I co-founded Nytch, worked on a licensing marketplace at Cocoban, and founded SippyCup Trading, a software and financial education business that was later sold.
I’m drawn to early product development: finding a problem worth working on, trying things, and making decisions with incomplete information. Right now, I’m particularly interested in agents and new AI experiences for how people work with information.
Outside work: tennis, space, policy, financial markets, and startups. I’m based in San Francisco, with roots in Oregon.
